الاسطورة الكندية Bryan Adams

ولد براين أدامز قي الخامس من نوفمبر (تشرين الثاني ) عام 1959 في كنغستون , أونتاريو
كان أباه يعمل في السلك الدبلوماسي فكان يتنقل من بلد إلى آخر من أوروبا الى شرق اسيا الى الشرق الاوسط .
ويقول براين أن هذه التنقلات قد أفادته في حياته من حيث تنوع المجتمعات التي عاش فيها .
عندما أصبح عمره 14 سنة استقر في فانكوفر وبدأ في عزف الغيتار مع أخويه و زملائه في المدرسة .
و في هذا العمر بدأ براين احتراف الغناء و العزف وخصوصاً الروك اند رول .

و عندما أصبح عمره 16 سنة , بدأ براين و فرقته السفر في أنحاء كندا لتقديم الأغاني والعروض
و كلهم أمل أن تسمعهم إحدى شركات الانتاج وتوقّع عقداً معهم .
خلال حياته , عمل براين كثيراً لكسب لقمة عيشه , فقد عمل مرةً في غسل الصحون في أحد المطاعم , و كان يبيع الصحف ,
و عمل أيضاً في محل لبيع الحيوانات الأليفة .
في فبراير ( شباط ) عام 1980 سجّل براين أول أغنية له عن طريق شركة A&M في تورنتو .
و في عام 1981 أصدر براين ثاني ألبوم له و قد احتوى على اربع اغاني حققت أعلى المبيعات على مستوى أمريكا الشمالية ,
وهذا الألبوم أنتجه براين بنفسه .

الأغاني التي احتلت المراتب الأولى هي :

Coming home - Lonely nights - one good reason - Fits ya good

في ابريل ( نيسان ) عام 1983 قدّم 100 حفلة في أمريكا فقط , و ذلك في جولته التي استغرقت خمس شهور .

في اغسطس ( آب ) عام 1983 بيع من ألبومه في امريكا لوحدها اكثر من مليون نسخة .
في ديسمبر (كانون الثاني ) عام 1983 حصل على ثلاث جوائز : جائزة أفضل الألبومات مبيعا - جائزة أفضل مغني فئة الرجال - جائزة الجونو لأفضل صوت .
في اكتوبر (تشرين الأول ) عام 1984 توقف براين عن الغناء لفترة بسبب عدم رضاه عن ألبوم " reckless "
و لكنه عاد بعد ثلاث سنوات بألبوم " into the fire " و الذي حقق نجاحاً منقطع النظير .
